\nAmber Dodson of Paducah Kentucky was injured in a Car wreck with a Semi-Truck today at the intersection of Ky 1241 and Ky 999. Dodson was removed from the wreckage by the McCracken County Jaws of Life.

\nDodson was alert and speaking to authorities on her way to the hospital. Dodson's exact injuries are unknown at this point. The driver of the Semi-Truck was not injured.

\nThis is usually the case when an Interstate Semi-Truck collides with another vehicle. The smaller (in size and weight) automobile and the driver/occupants suffer the brunt of the impact.

\nThe above facts point out the dangers on some of the highways in Western Kentucky. This particular intersection is extremely dangersous. It is also the site of other previous car accidents in Paducah. Because of its location in McCracken County, this intersection must be navigated with caution.
